Welcome to 58 Susanna Drive!

We created this website to give you as much information about the house and surrounding area as we could.  While the site is full of information, this will be more of a "one-pager" where you can find most of what you're looking for.

Arrival: Check-in at 3 pm. If the house has been cleaned, you may enter earlier. Otherwise, for your safety, please don't. You may pick up passes and go to pools at any time.

Directions: Click the icon for Google Maps - address is 58 Susanna Drive, Brewster, MA 02631

Parking: Park right in front of the house.

House entry: House entry is now through a digital lock. The code is set to the last 4 digits of your cell phone number.

Keys: Once you enter, there are keys in the house. If you are unable to enter with your code, then there is a key in the broker's lock on back patio side fince.  Code is here (you will need the password emailed to you with the link to this site).  Replace once you get in.

Television/Internet/Phone

  • There are 3 remote controls in the living room.  They are labeled.  One is for the TV, one for the cable box, and one for the Amazon Fire stick.  If you want to:

  • Watch Cable: Make sure the power is on both on the TV and the Cable box.  Select HDMI 1 as the source for the TV and use the cable remote to change channels.  Volume is always controlled from the TV remote.

  • Watch Netflix: Push the Samsung Apps button on the TV remote and select Netflix and then choose the Guest login.  Watch what you like.

  • Watch Amazon Prime Video: Push the Samsung Apps button on the TV remote and select Amazon.  Please stick to the Amazon Prime offerings.  The others incur a charge.

  • Watch Amazon Prime through the Fire stick: Switch to HDMI2. You may also watch Netflix and Amazon Prime through the firestick.

  • Watch Pay per view/On demand: If you want to watch a pay movie, go ahead.  Pay us somehow, just don't go overboard!

Trash: All trash must be placed in the trash room (which is directly across from our unit).  It must be placed in plastic bags (under the sink or in utility closet).  There is now recycling for cardboard, bottles and plastic. Please empty the fridge of all items on your departure.

Bathroom Humidity:  The bathrooms are very humid.  I have a small dehumidifier running and it helps a little.  Please empty them when full (slide out drawer, pour out water, and replace).  The toilet tanks sweat (especially the master).  This is not a leak, but condensation.  The fans work, but the one in the master sounds like a jet plane.  We’ll get it replaced.

Bugs:  They are a fact of life on the cape.  We treat the outside of the house every summer, so you won’t see too many.  You may see spiders, roly polys, earwigs, and the occasional giant ant.  They tend to come in when it’s raining out.  Otherwise, they stay away when people are around.  The wood floors also make them more noticeable than on carpeting.  Feel free to use the dustbuster on them.  There is environmentally friendly bug spray in the hall closet.  It is very minty.

Gas Grill: Turn on the gas by turning the knob on the tank.  Turn on the burners and push the starter.  When you’re done, please shut the tank until next use.  There is a replacement tank in the shed in the yard.

Smoking: THERE IS NO SMOKING, SO PLEASE DON’T!

Beach chairs/toys: Feel free to use the beach chairs/toys.  If you lose them, please replace them.  They are in the deck boxes.

Water:  The water heater is in the hall closet.  If you need to shut off the water, the shutoff is in there, but there is no need to do this between rentals.

Electricity:  The electrical panel is in the bedroom with the twin beds, behind the door.  Power outages happen on the cape, and there are candles in the kitchen drawer all the way to the right and flashlights in the kitchen.  Feel free to build a fire if you’re not too hot.

Please refer to the rest of the site for more detailed information. We hope you enjoy your stay.
